Punk, metal, music to make war to; how else to describe the fourth single from the violent turmoil that is Wargasm?
With SPIT the band compress all the raw rage of their live show into just over four minutes, taking us through sounds in equal parts influenced by Slipknot, Marilyn Manson and My Chemical Romance. The immediate power of that guitar riff will get your blood pumping almost before hitting play and by the time those drums hit, like thunderclouds over a battlefield, it is undeniable the war starts now.
Despite such divergent singing styles, one like a butterfly draped in barbed wire and one like the growl of a wild dog, the two vocals weave together fluidly throughout the song, demonstrating each singer’s incredible range as well as Wargasm’s ability to utilise a multitude of genres across their music.
